October Prayer Meeting
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.

Matthew 6:9-13 (NIV)

Students Standing Strong, we can't thank you enough.

At first when the first couple guys came in, I thought it was strange seeing Steven Crandall carrying a bunch of diapers. I thought, "Well...I guess he needs them these days!" Then when Hannah and I just kept seeing people come in with hands filled, we just looked at each other and gave each other "the look". Yep...the look means...once again, we've seen the Lord's faithfulness in our lives.

As you might have guessed, going to school whether that be college or graduate school is not cheap. It takes some deep pockets and some deep prayers for the Lord's provision. In Matthew 6, Jesus said, "Look at the birds of the air. Do you see how I care for them? How much more you?!?" Even though the Lord has provided, it is easy to forget that he has been faithful and will continue to be. Even
though school is expensive, Hannah and I have never missed a meal.
whoah! not one. So He will take care of us. Our job then is to "seek first His kingdom" (also in matt. 6).

All that to say, WE WERE SO MINISTERED TO BY YOU GUYS AND THE SELF- LESS GIFTS YOU GUYS GAVE US. I'm pretty sure we will have wipes till the cows come home. Even though no one really knows what that means, I'm still sure we have enough wipes and diapers for Sophie until she's 50 years old. (let's just hope she won't need them that long)

Serving with you for the gospel,

mike and hannah, addie and sophie
